For every year that Thanksgiving comes around there is a celebration of the fall harvest and for many other blessings that were bestowed in the past year for individuals and country at large. *As an old tradition dating back to 1621 Thanksgiving is a holiday waited for with baited breath, in celebration of the harvest festival signified by the cooking and serving of mostly traditional foods in neighborhoods happily among family and also that centers that serve the lesser fortunate people in the society to uplift them as much in the run-up to and on the day of Thanksgiving.
*It is not uncommon to find people who use that day to offer themselves in Thanksgiving by making the lives of the sick and the lesser endowed people of the society merrier for the sake of that day; they take part in complementing the preparation of food that is served at centers that feed poor families, the sick and the homeless in the society so that they too can celebrate and not feel left out. It is common to find companies and organizations, the religious groups and other business entities pouring resources to support the efforts of Thanksgiving, aligning their visions with community-based wellness interests and agenda, using Thanksgiving to represent the apex of their extended visions by offering to the society, the caring and support for the afflicted and less fortunate people in the society.
*It is Common to find companies and organizations branding themselves during this time through employees and people that they support to contribute to the Thanksgiving day as a way of displaying their brand for a positive effect. * While the festivities go on, the sideline effect is that companies and organizations market their brands through employees or agencies that they send out with the resources that they give for advantage. *Luckily it is the best interests of the sick, the poor families, and the homeless that are served while brands fight it out silently for advantage over each other.
*Traditionally, the activities of the feeding programs bulge a day or two earlier in anticipation of the Thanksgiving holiday so companies and organizations gear up earlier to support the feeding facilities so that they no food and service shortfalls come to the poor and the needy. *The companies and organizations continue their financial and moral support until the celebrations come to a good close before everything returns back to the way that they used to be. *Anything that unites people for a better future is obviously welcome, and for companies and organizations putting their best foot forward to express themselves positively is a good step and is always welcome.
